The future bride, also dressed in the traditional costume, expects her future husband.
Both are installed on large armchairs ''Pomare'' decorated with flowers. The ground is covered with braiding coconut boughs.Flowers were sprinkled everywhere. The ''scene'' is decorated with plants and flowers nosedives in banana trunks.
The ceremony begins with beautiful songs.Dancers sit on the ground and start singing moving songs.Thereafter, a small prayer (''pure Tahiti'' in Tahitian) is announced by the priest and the group collects one's thoughts.

Married couple cross their hands and the priest poured coconut water on their hands crossed to bless their alliances and their union.
They are then surrounded by a''tifaifai''(local cotton coverage , decorated with Polynesians patterns), and we offered cocktails in a coconut
The union is established by beautiful songs and one last dance at which newlyweds are invited.A first dance for bride with the women and her husband with the men.
After the last dance, they are taken to the dugout for a wonderful ballad on the lagoon at sunset, accompanied by 3 or 4 muscians which will be heard from afar, the sound of traditional instruments.
On their way, they will be welcomed and applauded.
We give them a marriage certificate in French and Tahitian, specially created for them in plant materials, decorated according inspiration, shellfish and seeds, some sand or nacre, and they will sign our marriage book.
